Progress Coach

The Role

We are looking to recruit a full-time Progress Coach at George Eliot School. The post will be for 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

To follow academy routines and processes as directed and provide appropriate academic support to students. To work as a member of the learning support team. Support the implementation of operational/strategic plans relating to learning support team.

Experience

Experience of working effectively with children/young people and providing academic support to students. Some experience of working effectively with a range of professionals to promote children’s/young people’s learning or welfare. An understanding/knowledge of equal opportunities, Special Educational Needs and Safeguarding. Some knowledge of the theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of students.

Hours

Monday – Friday

37 Hours per week.

39 Weeks per year

Salary

£19,000 - £21,000 Per year, Pro Rata
