What information does the Midland Academies Trust collect about me?

When you interact with the Midland Academies Trust we sometimes receive personal information about you. For example, if you make an enquiry you will need to tell us who you are and how we can contact you.

In addition, as you browse the site we gather some basic data such as which pages you have visited which we use for statistical analysis – this does not include any personal information. This basic data is passed to Google to allow us to analyse how users use our website, which helps us to improve our site.

How do we use your information?

We will use your personal information for a number of purposes including the following:

  • To contact you in response to a direct enquiry
  • To provide you with services you have requested, such as news alerts or RSS feeds
  • To personalise the way the website is presented to you, for example if you use our accessibility features to adjust your font size or colour scheme

Any personal information we collect about you (such as your name and contact details) will be kept confidential with sensitive data, such as job application forms, being stored in an encrypted format.

Any general information which does not identify you (such as tracking which web pages you have visited) will be used purely for statistical analysis.
We won't contact you for marketing purposes, or promote new services to you unless you specifically agree. You can opt-out of receiving direct marketing from us at any stage.
